Project results dissemination

The EU4AFRI project team planned a number of activities to disseminate the idea of the project and its results. To attain the strategy goal, the following actions will be taken:

  • research work. They constitute an important complement to all other project activities, especially didactic modules and open expert seminars. The research activities will be devoted to current issues related to the EU development aid directed to African countries, its capacity (institutional, international and financial) to deliver this aid effectively, and adjustment (reform) processes to increase the effectiveness of EU aid activities in Africa;
  • participation in international conferences. Such participation will make it possible over the long-term to bring the project’s results to a wide public. Participation in international events will enable the presentation of the project results to a wide audience and include the university in the current discourse on the contemporary challenges of the EU and Africa;
  • contests for infographics. We live in an age where we are constantly bombarded with information and data. Visualization of these data is aimed at organizing and understanding them. The aim of the contests for infographics on broadly understood EU development assistance for Africa and the complex relations of the European Union with the African continent is to involve students and young researchers in the process of organizing information in this field, raise the level of ability to transfer knowledge in a synthetic way and stimulate their creativity. The best works (infographics) will be published on the website (virtual exhibitions) and will be presented in a public space (for example: at the SGH’ s main hall, at the SGH’s library, at the SGH’s garden, in open urban space such as passages, squares or cafes). This will contribute to the promotion of the Jean Monnet Activities idea, European studies in general and SGH as one of the leading academic centres in the region;
  • materials and diploma theses resulting from the courses and seminars completed under the project;
  • the EU4AFRI project website. The website will contain interesting and up-to-date source of information about the project results, events, deliverables, etc. It will be provided in Polish and English, concerning the EU’s development assistance for Africa in the context of the key Africa's challenges and changing international circumstances. The project website will be continued and maintained also after the completion of the project.
