THE ORGANISATION OF OIL EXPORTING COUNTRIES (OPEC), ITS INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE AND AID TO AFRICA

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and show how it conducts its business in the international arena. The paper presents OPEC's policies to preserve the organisation's global market position, shows its activities in support of underdeveloped African regions, addresses the war in Ukraine and OPEC's response to this conflict.
